Dr. Perrin Elisha Ph.D

Dr. Elisha is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of health, eating, and body concerns including eating disorders and addictive patterns.  She is in private practice in Westwood, CA and a staff member with Spero Retreat Center and the Susan B Krevoy eating disorders program.  She has written in the area of body and health experience and its relationship to psychological wellbeing and has a new book coming out this spring entitled “The Body on the Couch”. She is on the organizing committee and teaching faculty of the New Center for Psychoanalysis’ eating disorders training program and a clinical associate at the NCP. Her past experience also includes child psychotherapy and a general psychology practice. Dr. Elisha holds a doctorate in clinical and depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Masters in Transpersonal Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology.
